Chris Hough

Chris is a solicitor and Chartered Civil Engineer.  He worked as an engineer in the UK, South Africa and the Middle East and is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He specialises in dispute resolution, particularly in construction & building law, advising on major contentious and non-contentious matters in the UK and internationally.

Much of his work is in representing parties in adjudication.  He is a registered Adjudicator and Arbitrator listed on the ICE, TeCSA, CIOB, RIBA and RICS panels for more than 20 years.  Chris has issued decisions in numerous high value adjudications concerning complex legal and technical issues. 

He founded adjudication.co.uk, is a member of the ICE Law & Contract Management Committee and former Chairman of the TeCSA Adjudication Sub-Committee.  Chris is a member of ARBRIX and lectures extensively on construction law.
